Be Better, Period starts TODAY- For 6 Months starting today, Wednesday April 1, 2015- September 1, 2015– Sharon and I would like you guys to write down on a piece of paper- 5 things that you feel would make you a better person and you get to decide what your better is! We want you to write down those things, realities that by your estimation mean that you are a better person. You can take “better” on any sense. It can be about anything, triglycerides, any health markers, a better husband, better wife- You just decide for yourself what it is that would make you better – we are going to write it down, seal it up and Sharon and I will hide it from you, put in a box and in 6 months you are going to open it up. Good Nutrition, good exercise and improved lifestyle choices make everything that’ s critical to your well being, BETTER

With a running clock, every minute perform 1 lift and add 10 lbs.

Start with an empty barbell and SNATCH for as long as possible.

Once you cannot snatch the weight, CLEAN for as long as possible.

Once you cannot clean the weight, DEADLIFT for as long as possible.

Post heaviest load for the snatch, clean and deadlift to comments.

Box Brief:
– Box will be closed this Friday April 3, 2015 (Good Friday) and Monday April 6, 2015 (Easter Monday)

  1. Fun class at noon today and a great way to progress with the lifting. Snatch 175, clean 255 and deadlift 495 (just missed 515!!). I love lifting heavy s#%t!!! Bring on the back squats!!

  2. One of the funnest WODs I’ve done in a while. Wow, what a show of pure strength coming from the gym today at lunch! Snatch, 145 then lost my balance on 155 – Cleans, got 245 then couldn’t stand up with 255 – Deadlifts, played it safe and quit at 365.

  3. I needed this workout! I felt crappy all day but lifting heavy things always helps.
    80# Snatch, 120# Clean, 225# Deadlift, triple PR!! 😀

  4. I agree with everyone else. This was probably the most fun I’ve had at a WOD ever. It now beats out the Row & Deadlift WOD for my favourite.
    150 Snatch
    215 Clean
    375 Deadlift

  5. Awesome lifting session tonight with the 7pm class! Nice way to end the day.
    Can never go wrong while throwing around weights!
