Officer David Vanbuskirk, 36, of Henderson, Nevada, was killed on July 23, 2013, when he fell during a nighttime aerial rescue mission in Las Vegas, Nevada. Vanbuskirk had been employed with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department since 1999 and joined the elite Search and Rescue Team in 2007.

Vanbuskirk is survived by his wife, Adriana; sister, Jenny; and mother, Pat. He is preceded in death by his father, Red; and brother; Michael.

Run 800 meters with a 20-lb. medicine ball
Then, 4 rounds of:
10- Wallballs

  1. And yes, the running was the worst part for sure. Tough to get a good stride with the ball wanting to bounce around all over the place.

  2. Meant to post yesterday and got sidetracked. 38:04, finding a consistent way to carry the med ball was the challenge. Runs went much better than I expected.

    Did 2 rope climbs then scaled the rest so I didn’t fall to my death. Need to work on more depth during the wallballs, was standing up more as I got tired.
