I couldn’t do the buy-in (alone with kids 😁) so I skipped it and got through seven rounds and 50 double unders.
Fifteen years ago I got a nasty infection in my ribcage after running in the cold. I swore then I wouldn’t run under zero ever again. Today I did it anyway and ran my first unbroken mile (plus 2 rounds). Feels good.
Spicy morning to go for a run outside, but after 400m was settled in and finished the mile then 2 rounds + 15 skips. Had to do single skips due to space / wet shoes, did Rx for the plank rows.
Running/skipping/high-volume squats didn’t agree with me today soooo Jess/Jim helped me come up with a modification
Buy-In
– burpees ’til they’re back from their run (finished 85)
AMRAP
– 20 alt v-ups
– 10 power cleans (#95)
– 20 renegade DB rows (~#32)
finished 2 rounds of the AMRAP but went slightly over-time to get the last few rows done
Mile run felt great and on target but transition into the house and change of shoes ate up a lot of time. Gassed for my first 50 DUs didn’t help. Need to work on that. Subbed plank shoulder taps instead of dbs. 1rd + 71
