  1. 2 x 35lb dumbbells for the deadlifts.
    Round 1 – 6 Rounds + 14 reps, Round 2 – 7 Rounds + 10 reps.
    Nothing like turning the wod in to a little competition to really pick it up in the second set. I’ve never seen Jim deadlift so fast to stay ahead of me while I was pushing to catch up!

    I’ll bet that guy crushed this wod.

    I used 2x#20 for the dead lifts as had to share what we have and my calves are still recovering from Tuesday. As Jess mentioned, we ended up racing each other starting near the end of the first round, and just pushed it super hard for the second.

  3. I used a 95# barbell for the deadlifts.

    Round 1: 6 sets even
    Round 2: 6 sets + 1 dl

    Seeing the other two race on the other end of the video call definitely was a motivator. Couldn’t get too far behind the star of the day! The bad hamstring felt stiffer today than usual for some reason but I still made it through without problem.

    Wore ‘dem red shirts again.

  5. Craving heavier weights. Getting discouraged. Might need to shop this weekend.
